When the world was young and only one continent lay on the Earth, The Ancients, legends of our time, governed hundreds of thousands of creatures of all kinds, now known to us as Pokemon. They were not happy with their life on Earth, but the Ancients simply did not care. After several revolts, all of which had ended in failure, nothing changed. And so it was that way, for hundreds of centuries. Soon, however, unrest grew in the world. A wandering traveler came and demanded change. The Ancients simply laughed at its requests, and did nothing. However, this was different. The traveler revealed himself as the great Arceus. The world split in two under his wrath, and for the first time in millenniums, change took place. He gave them a hundred years to satisfy the Earth and another hundred years to satisfy the creatures. For the first century, the Ancients worked on creating the continents, shaping the seasons, and transforming the face of the world. They buried what was left of life on Earth, honoring them, and vowing that, one day, they would rise once again. When Arceus came down, a century later, for the last time, he imposed three blessings, or rather, curses upon the world to complete it and make it full. The first was to separate the people of the world, the ones with no powers and the others with powers would never meet each other. However, in some places, worlds collide allowing both people and Pokemon to live together. The second was the curse of evil - and the blessing of virtue. For the final one, he gave each both chaos and order. Then, after all, he disappeared from existence. Millions of years later, two great nations rose from the ruins of the old world. One was known as Celestia and the other, Akadia. Constantly in war, it was not until hundreds of years later until Celestia prevailed over its long-time enemy. The people of Akadia fled across the sea until they found an island inhabited with only Pokemon. They settled there, eventually settling down as the Aeroians. The Celestials, however, were not finished. They pursued their enemies to Aero and waged war once more, using Pokemon as their instruments of destruction. This time, though it was the Celestials who were forced to flee. But now, the Celestials have set their sites on something bigger. Domination of the world.
