New York City is a hotbed of paranormal activity; sightings of ghosts, hauntings, demon possessions, and even rumors of vampires abound.
While most people are skeptics, there are two subversive factions at war with one another: The New York Paranormal Society and The Lords of Order. Each has achieved cult-like status and employs questionable tactics to further their agendas.. which some doomsday-sayers predict will eventually escalate into an all-out war in the mean streets of New York.
Vampires and Lycans are not 'outed', but skulk about in secrecy, hiding from Slayers and their powerful weapons.
