We recommend using one of these to keep track of all your characters, along with their pokemon and items they may gather along the way.

A nice worn down path filled with lower level Pokemon. The grassy surroundings attract several different types of Pokemon. Note the marker for Route 1 few trainers have stopped and on the back side etched their initials into the paint. Welcome to your journey.

Take a left at the three mile marker and immerse yourself into the slower changing landscape. From the open field to the growing forest. Mostly small tree and little bushes line the side of his route, however it only shows how a landscape changes into Terra Forest. Pokemon that inhabit this area are more grass and poison type as it leads up to the forest.

This huge forest with trees as far as the eye can see is a 2 mile walk through grass, trees and Pokemon. Grass, bug and poison types flourish in this environment as well as a few dark types who favor the shade of the trees.

Timberville says it all in the name. It is the town with the largest output of the timber commodity. It is the first town along the journey with a certified gym, running as a fighting type gym. Around the area, fighting type flourish because they often help humans moving logs onto trucks for delivery.

After leaving Timberville, the path is worn down. Fighting type and ground type Pokemon inhabit the area until farther down the path where grass begins to get thicker, containing several different types of Pokemon.

As you continue along the grass seems dense and tall filled with grass, flying and fighting type Pokemon. To the right not far down the route is the Safari Zone.

A small town at the end of Route 4 that is known for its entry way to victory road. Of course it is explorable, but the level of Pokemon is great so it is only recommended to come after you have defeated the fifth or sixth gym. Other than being the base of victory road, there is nothing terribly special about this town.

Sub-boards: Verdana Canal, Verdana Bridge

A town at the base of an active volcano. This town contains the second gym you will face which is a fight with hot fire type Pokemon. This town also has a Pokemon spa which will help increase your relationship with your Pokemon.

Sub-boards: Stone Ridge Gym, Stone Ridge Spa

A dirt, rocky path leading up to the volcano. Fire, rock and ground Pokemon reside along this route and there is a natural hot spring towards the end of the path.

Sub-board: Hot Springs

A volcano that many trainers explore to find unique, higher level Pokemon. It is said in a legend in Stone Ridge that the legendary bird Moltres and the ground monster Groudon lived within the volcano for some time but have not been sighted for several hundred years.

Back towards route one, this is the other fork in the road. Once blocked off by a guard, if you can present your second gym badge you may pass through. On this route are electric Pokemon, due to the energy given off by the power plant and water Pokemon because it is a hydroelectric plant. This route leads the way to Shoreline City where you will face your third gym.

This is a super metro city, full of huge buildings and sky scrapers. The third gym along your journey is here with electric type Pokemon. There is a port where goods are exchanged, but many fisherman will fish off the side of it when it is empty. There are many things to do and see in this city so it is often pretty busy.

A path that follows both the ocean and a grassy area. Several different types of Pokemon are found here ranging from water, psychic, normal and flying. You can go off the road to a small fishing hole for Pokemon of the sea.

Sub-board: Fishing Hole

This continues on from Route 7 with thicker terrain and more access to the beach. This route leads up to Pengrove, a small beach town.

A small beach town with access to a swimming beach and a resort. At the resort, you can board your Pokemon there, while you visit the town. There are also deep sea ruins not far off the shore that you can explore for deep sea Pokemon.

A small route that forks to Route 10 and Parcen Oasis. It is recommended to visit Parcen first because it is the town with the next Gym. Dark and grass type Pokemon love this terrain.

A desert oasis with the next gym on your journey. Ground type Pokemon flourish the area and the town. There is a small natural well that puts out fresh water that the village people use to drink out of. The town leads out to a dessert where it is hot, dry and miserable.

Sub-board: Paercen Oasis Gym

This path breaks off from a sandy desert to a rocky and shrubby terrain leading to the next town with a gym. Several types of Pokemon live here including ground, rock, dark, grass and a few ice type farther down the path.

This is a relatively large town, laying at the foot of a snow covered, dormant volcano. Because of the elevation, there is always snow in the area, even during warmer seasons. The 5th gym is located here with ice type Pokemon. There is a small path out of Abrima that leads to the ice caverns, which are seemingly endless with tons of places to explore.

Pokemon. It is wise to train here for levels for the upcoming gym battle. You can find items here as well as surf a small lake with in the cavern.

A small trail which was wanted to be considered part of Route 9 except the landscape begins to change drastically to dry and warm. Electric, fire, water and grass Pokemon live in harmony here just before Celiac City.

Celiac is southeast of Parcen, still holding a desert like look to it. There is nothing too important in town, unless there is a contest. Contests are a huge event in this town, they have even built their own stadium where contests are held as well as small battle competitions for experience.

Here at the trainer plaza are several resources for you and your Pokemon. Ranging from Pokemon shops, to trading and battling.
